Linguistic Diversity in the Internet
DILINET was a very ambitious project promoted by FUNREDES and MAAYA to offer a comprehensive solution to the challenge of getting serious and sustainable indicators of languages in the Internet.
The project did not manage to secure the funds. The need for such a project is every day more obvious and this page makes public the products of the huge investment which was made to define the project.
The project was conceived in 2010 and received the support of Union latine, UNESCO and OIF, and the participation of ITU, in order to create a high level research consortium able to submit to appropriate calls of the Union Europea Program Framework in January 2012 and January 2013.
